UNIKO with Chamber Orchestra
Since the premiere with Kronos Quartet, Uniko has been performed widely with Kronos Quartet, Proton String Quartet and Ragazze Quartet. Uniko was first created by Kimmo Pohjonen and the sampling master Samuli Kosminen featuring music composed by the duo. In 2021, Uniko was rearranged for chamber orchestra, Kimmo Pohjonen (accordion, vocals), Juuso Hannukainen (electronics), and had its premiere with the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra in Estonia in 2021 followed by two further concerts in Tallinn in August 2022. The concerts were conducted by Tõnu Kaljuste.
